Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday criticized the opposition parties as a circus. His remarks were in reference to the recent Azadi march in Islamabad of Jamaat-ulamai Islam Fazl. PM said that I have said before that if they can prolong their Azadi march movement for a month, then I will accept all their demands but they could not, as we [PTI] have done for 126 days. He regretted that the students were brought into the movement, saying that the participants were unaware of the purpose of the movement. He alleged that Maulana Fazlur Rahman used them for personal gain and he also used religion to make money. He also said that the opposition parties had arrived in Islamabad to “blackmail” the government with a view to curbing corruption cases pending against their leaders.
